Not put it on the market yet, I am too scared in case we don't get the visa. So I am waiting till my sister goes to Centre Link and then it is going on. I figure most of the stuff would be out of the way by then.

Rejected an offer but starting to get regrets about it now (only slightly at the moment)

Exchanged contracts with completion in just over a week's time
Did have to reduce the asking price though

We've had ours up since mid July (1 viewer in July, 1 viewer in Aug, 1 viewer in September) since reducing the price in September by 12k - no viewers.
Changing estate agents tomorrow and 'increasing' the price by 7k, so we shall see what happens.

Same old same old! ...
Phoning the agent on Monday to knock ANOTHER £10k off the price.
Someone on here said NOT to do it in big chunks, and to reduce £2k at a time, but that in itself takes time.
Time we REALLY don't have!

Re: How is your house sale going Part IV
Five weeks on the market and accepted offer 10K under asking price. We are chuffed because we didn't think we would get an offer before we leave first week in Jan and the mortgage is quite a hefty sum each month so 10K under is not really that bad! Hope to exchange before Christmas *fingers crossed*
