Re: Discrimination
Oh come on W10, you know Gulf News is not exactly unbiased, especially when it comes to anything at all about UAE Nationals. They also MUST have at least 1 pic of The Sheik in the first 3 or so pages, followed by at least one smaller pic of other gov. ministers, in decreasing size signifying position.
I believe discrimination affects all of us, no matter what the colour, creed or caste. I think that richer people (swooping generalisation coming up) believe they have more right to the roads, queues, etc. than the rest of the populus. Does that make them manifestly wrong, incorrectly educated, or correct?
But on a lighter note, at least I'm not xenophobic, I hate everyone!!

Here not only the government pays for yr avaiation schooling if ure a local but now theres rumours that if u join Qatar Airways as a pilot and work for 15yrs non stop the State then gives u the option to stop working and give u full pay every month for life (their wages r prob more than the foreigners' -(applies only to locals OF COURSE).
