Default Skilled Visa Timelines - Region 3

Thought some would like to know I have been advised that some resources in Region 3 at the Skilled Processing Centre have been diverted to clearing the pre-1 July 2004 caseload.

This probably explains the easing in the timelines of the relatively recently lodged applications, which are currently looking at an 11 to 12 week timeline for medical requests (the exception being MODL and SIR visa applications).

I hasten to add (before I'm asked) that I don't have details for other Regions ... :-))

Best regards.

Thanks Alan! It's good to know, but it seems like 12 weeks would be good, cause me and others already passed the 12 weeks limit!

I know what you mean everything has been slowed down for a bit now.....but I can't really moan as I am still only coming to the end of 10th week.

Region 3 Covers:

London (UK & Ireland)
Berlin (Europe)
Bangkok (South East Asia except Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia & East Timor)

Is this correct?

Thanks Alan,

Would this shifting of resources also affect applications in the final stage i.e. waiting for grant letter or does it only affect those waiting for medical & pcc request?

Or does it affect all applications for region 3, regardless where in the process it is?

Cheers,

Tops.
