Walking across the bridge to land. BAD STRATEGY?
Hey all,
I am planning to land by going across the Peace Bridge. As some of you may know I have a suspended license here in the US.
Does anyone know if it's SAFE to land by walking across the bridge as opposed to taking a bus/cab, etc. My buddy will drop me off at the bridge and I am planning to cross over to the other side where another buddy will pick me up and take me to Toronto.
My only concern is that the officers on the Canadian side may get suspicious when they see me trying to land this way - ie walking as opposed to what they are used to (rental cars, Uhauls, etc). What do you guys feel?
THANKS A BUNCH!

hey viper man!
as mhhp, me too I don't see any problem in doing in this way, but to be sure (with CIC never say never) I would recommend an expert's advise.
Rainbow Bridge? is the one in Niagara Falls? Doing in this way you could also stop at Niagara Casino, have a huge buffet lunch and try your luck at blackjack to better celebrate your special day!

LOL! Thanks both of you! Yeah, I think I'll be fine. Yes, Rainbow Bridge and Peace Bridge are both near the Falls so it's going to be a treat.
I'll be in very high spirits once I get in....who knows I might squander the settlement funds on a few rounds on Black Jack!LOL!

Rainbow Bridge has a separate pedestrian area so they are probably more used to getting walk-up traffic there since the casino is right across the street from the bridge.
