Stockholm - Skavsta Airport
From the website of Skavsta Airport I understand that there are both rail and coach
connections between Skavsta Airport and Stockholm City. But do the trains actually deliver
you to the terminal building (does it have a station next or under the terminal building)?
or do I have to take another transfer?
How far is Skavsta Airport from Stockholm City?

There's no rail station at the airport so you've to go by taxi to or from
Nyköping, you can estimate the taxi trip to about 100SEK.
There are busses to Stockholm city connecting to all flights.

About 100km to the south, very close to Nyköping town.

No, the rail connection is from Nykoping, which is the nearest town from
Skavsta Airport.

You'll need a taxi as well. The bus, on the other hand, delivers to the
terminal, and is thus more convenient.

A looong boring bus ride away.

Re: Stockholm - Skavsta Airport
It's much cheaper with the Airport bus, which leaves 30 minutes after
each flight arrives. The price is: 130 one-way, or 199 for both ways.
Here is the link to the timetable:

I've been there last week, and Sandy's information is right.
The best way to reach Stockholm city center is by bus.
The ticket costs 133 Kr one way or 199Kr for the round trip.
The bus arrives at the city terminal, close to the railway and tube
station. There's no real timetable because the bus depart 15-30 minutes
after each ryanair flight arrival.
For the stockholm-skavsta trip there are timetables with also the
destination of the ryanair flights that could be reached int time for
check-in. This timetable also changes if flight schedule changes (my
return flight to milan was re-scheduled at 20 and a bus was provided at
17.00 from the city-terminalen).
Don't buy the tickets at the automatic machine that there is in the
baggage claim area. You'll face a long queue.
Just take your baggage, exit from the arrivals area and reach the
service/information service at the other side of the airport.
There you can but the tickets from the clerk quickly.
The bus departs just outside of the door near the ticket office.
From the city-terminal the bus departs from gate 24.

We arrived late (23.00), so there was no traffic on the road from the
airport to the city and the trip took around one hour, I think that at
rush our it could take 15-30 minutes more.
