France Upgrades Terror Alert
French Upgrade Terror Alert
Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2004
In light of the Madrid bombing, France has raised their
terror alert level from "run" to "hide".
The only two higher levels in France are "surrender"
and "collaboration"!

Spoken like a true Bushite! (Aka "right-wing American bigot" - some of
my fellow countrymen make me ashamed to share nationality with them.)

Sitting here in Europe and denied access to the true Fountains of Truth
like Fox News, I assume the European media have boycotted reporting the
big anniversary celebrations that must have taken place in the USA this
week, you know, the tickertape parades on 5th Ave, medals for the
heroes, the cheering waving crowds of patriotic Americans.
Instead we get footage of Rumsfield saying "I can't remember - can you,
Dick?"

Re: France Upgrades Terror Alert
I'm sure the French citizens here are likewise "ashamed" over the
continual America bashing that goes on here too... <g>
Apparently, 'what you sow, you reap'.
In any case this is clearly just a 'joke'; I got a good laugh at the
expense of France today; perhaps you should also do so and not take such
offense. Americans here are *expected* to take such jokes on their own
country in stride here; we should likewise take the same attitude over
quips regarding the foibles other countries.

Re: France Upgrades Terror Alert
Spanish choose not to support war of the new Atila (Bush). The decission of
going out of Iraq was took by the socialist party months ago, before the
criminal attack of march the eleventh.
We don't change iraq people blood for petroleum. We are against terrorism
but under ONU rules not under the skull and bones flag. Do you really think
Al Qaida is in Iraq, doesn't was the invisible mass destruction weapons the
reason for the war?
From the Maine in Cuba, the Pearl Harbour attack, the Tonkien Bay in
Vietnam, the USA has invented or promoted reasons to war.
Europe is different, we have our human rights culture, our history, we don't
have electric chair, neither support the military regimes in South America,
we vote in our polls, we participate in our political decisions,we have
several parties to choose very different one from another.

Which the new guys had the courage to undo. Better late than never.

Bigot perhaps. But nowadays, it's more like idiots. Nutcases at the
White House really. Mind you, I can't see them being able to extend the
lease. No matter what dirty tricks they try.
All the dirt, lies and idiocy are coming out, and the one thing you hear
from them is denial. "Not true, not true.." They can repeat this a
million times, it will only make matters worse. Sounds quite weak.
For a guy who got elected based upon an image of a honest fellow, the pack
of lies looks good indeed. Nothing like making people feeling they were
had by someone they thought they could trust.
We are already seeing moderate republicans distancing themselves from the
nutcases. The kiss of deatrh if you ask me.
