At least two persons have reportedly been killed and a number of others injured in the last 48 hours following confrontations between demonstrators and government security forces in the city of Qatif. The potential for further demonstrations continues to exist.
Reconsider travel to Qatif and Awamiya in the Eastern Province, exercise caution and be aware of the potential for protests that can result in violence.
Be prepared to postpone or cancel activities for personal safety concerns.

So what's the story today? The government says no more protests and there they go again. Is it not too hot for protests?

Was on the way home from the mall yesterday and there was shed loads of riot police about but I never saw any action... could have happened afterwards though?
