hi, can anybody tell me any websites where there are second hand motorhomes for sale. i think we would not be able to register ours, as it is rhd. thanx x

I have been looking for one for a guy I work for, if you type in Winnebago in google you get lots of sites, also on e bay, lots for sale, all over Europe and US.

I think you can look for 'autocaravana'
There are some second hand auto web sites that may be useful. Look at http://www.segundamano.es/ and search in the Province for 'autocaravana'.

Yes it is possible to re-register a RHD motorhome. We have done two

Apart from the headlights, did you have to make any modifications? A friend was told last month by a specialist gestor and by MAPFRE that it would not be possible to re-register his RHD motorhome because the external access door to the living accommodation was on the "wrong" side. He would be glad to hear they were wrong....before he sells it!

That is annoying, I owned a Rapido Randonneur which is French, and in the UK when parked on site my door always opened to the side where the next door neighbours were eating ... used to really p!ss people off

No other modifications were necessary except for headlights. But as always, it depends on the ITV station and the laws on the day. I suggest you go to your local ITV with the motorhome and ask the question "Is it possible to re-register this vehicle"?

I thought one of the reasons you also cant re-reg a commercial is because the loading door is on the wrong side.
