a family man looking for a quiet life, camping trips to desert and beaches, easy going locals - Oman

a single guy looking for some action, clubbing, drinks, young crowd, cheap rent or a family guy whose wife likes shopping - dubai

a man looking for a place to save all his hard earned money without opportunity to spend anything - saudi arabia

i've been to qatar and kuwait and did not like it for some reason.

the best country in the middle east - lebanon i would think.

Jordan. clean, friendly people who remember what hospitality is about.

If You like your clothing to go from white to brown while attempting to walk down the street half a block without being harassed then Egypt is the place for you.

And not forgetting Israel, which has its good points...cannot think of too many right now though.

From the look of the highway on a Thursday night Bahrain is very popular for people in Saudi! It's still much more liberal but they are moves afoot to change all that.

Saudi...yes, but only if you have a wife who does not like to shop...as apparently it is an occupation in Saudi....oh, and if you like the real deal grog..in Saudi it will cost you and arm and a leg. So, if you are teetotaller(sp???) and nobody shops in your family, Saudi is the place to save money!

Lets be honest. If you are a teetotaller and not a shopper, you can live anywhere and save money, as you won't be spending it wherever you live.
So saudi is a shit choice for the relaxation, all the others are back in play.

Well no, not really...one could have expensive hobbies, for example.
Anyway, I lived in Saudi for 4 years. Had a grand time.

Israel - but that doesn't exist on most of the maps printed in most other countries in the middle east.

According to the June issue of GQ, Yemen is possibly the best place to live if you are a man.

Israel is the best country in the middle east is a big joke, first of all it so racist and a criminal state, we know not too long ago how many children they have slaughtered in Gaza, not to mention the destruction of most of the public infrastructure and the inhumane blockade of so many Palestenians denying the basic human right of free movement. Well if Israel is the best how come most of you choose and prefer to live in the Middle East?
