Hi
Good news, I have been advised that the Tapu (deeds) office is now processing deeds transfers for foreign people, following the change of law earlier this year, allowing another potential 89 countries to now buy property in Turkey. The list has also been produced with guidance as to more countries that can now buy in Turkey, without reciprocity, as there are restrictions on some countries. I haven't had absolute confirmation of this - what it appears is that some offices have started issuing them but not all - it is sketchy. I am expecting to hear more by Monday.
If anyone can say for certain which offices (i.e. where) they are aware of that are processing now, please do so.

Just to close this off - since my last posting the tapu offices have returned to business as usual and their is no problem with foreign buyers obtaining their tapu.
