Nepal'e Situation Dangerous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are a 1st. time traveler to Nepal, PLEASE KNOW THE DANGER!!!
Please read the U.S. TRAVEL WARNINGS and know the Tourist industry lies abo=
ut Safety in Nepal !
1)The UN finds the Armed Forces and Police are near the Top-of-the-list for=
Torture.
2) Many areas in the country are controlled by Maoist Rebels, who also oper=
ate in the Capital of Kathmandu
3) There are daily violent clashes in Kathamndu between Democracy Demonstra=
tors, students, Press and
Human Rights supporters and Police.

It's pretty obvious that US citizens face travel warnings as soon as they
leave north america or western europe. That doesn't mean, anybody else does.
I go there at the end of september.
Beginning of november I can tell you what's really going on there.

It's pretty obvious that US citizens face travel warnings as soon as they
leave north america or western europe. That doesn't mean, anybody else does.
I go there at the end of september.
Beginning of november I can tell you what's really going on there.

My dear Volker,
I am a Journalist assigned to Kathmandu 3-4 months each year.
"American" has nothing to do with the danger. Most nations warn against
travel to Nepal also.
I am sure when Germany decides who is leading the country it will have time
to do the same.
Enjoy Nepal and PLEASE STAY SAFE !!! If you drop by the New Orleans
