Dear all,
I am at the point off sending the huge file that is my spousal sponsorship application..and I have realised that some documents (passport), (canadian citizenship card) are still in my maiden name and bank statements are in my married name !! OOPPS. I have filled in all the forms with my maiden name as it asks for the EXACT one in your passport !!! will it really matter..I have a marriage certificate ?? Thanks Abi |

Given it's a spousal application they probably expect to see things in both names - as you say your marriage certificate is in there anyway. If you're concerned you can always put a disclaimer somewhere (hand-write it on the bank statement for example) but I don't see it being an issue.
(I'm not the resident expert, though, one of those guys will be along to correct if I'm mistaken!)
