You might be waiting awhile for a reply as the golf courses across Canada are now opening up.

The wiki doesnt really address the FUNDAMENTAL problem with any Dr wanting to move here.
That is the necessity of supervised internships before being licensed. Regardless of experience.
There are very very few internships available for foreign trained Drs to get the necessary supervised experience that the provincial medical licensing boards demand.
But it can and has been done, and there are some exceptions. I recall a Dr posting a long time back who had moved to Dawson BC I think it was, as they could bend the rules a bit as no other bugger wanted to go there, but its not common.

For example, "Satisfactory completion of the certification requirements of the College of Family Physicians" leads to the CFPC requirements that accept GMC licensing but require that the candidate
" have been granted registration to practice in a Canadian province or territory."
Which leads in turn to the PCRC, part of the MCC, which in turn leads to
http://www.mcc.ca/en/obtaining_license.shtml
and then you get back into this:
http://www.carms.ca/eng/index.shtml
which is where the limited number of places for foreign grads come in.
Like I said, there are exceptions, but its no easy thing to transfer from the UK to Canada as a Dr without jumping numerous hurdles.
