Default Schools and elections

Just to warn all of you who have children at school here.
As next weekend there are elections most schools will be closed to become polling stations. You will probably only be told of this about 2 days before (usual organisation skills )
This will probably be tacked onto the easter holidays - so they could be home for about 2 weeks - but check with your local schools.

Oh no Patty it's much better here! The kids finish school at 12.30 on friday afternoon. They are then off next monday and tuesday, back and school wednesday and then when do you think the Easter holidays start??!!

THURSDAY. Seriously. Was it worth the teachers getting their arses out of bed for one day??!!

Spose we could look on the bright side of the elections - all the stupid leaflets that come in the post every day are good practice for drawing funny faces on
(Mr B looks great with a few teeth blacked out )

There are loads of them everywhere here. I'm bored of clearing out my postbox every day! Flipping waste... not to mention the two or three automated phonecalls a day. ... personally I'm quite looking forward to having the kids home for a bit but it must be a nightmare when you're working!!
