He probably has the same nationality qualifications as Jade Jagger? Or all those Russians quietly buying property?
Cultural differences and integration? Aren't we talking about expats here.................. or immigrants?
Oh sorry that wouldn't make any difference either.
Read it again and see if you still think its wonderful, or just a collection of glib generalisations
Yours gratefully

Are you saying that expats have no need to integrate or appreciate cultural differences? Only immigrants?
They Just need to make use of the weather, the beach and the food? and join with their own group in denigrating all else?
Most expats I would think are not of this mind. Am I wrong?

Rough Justice!
In May 2010 Tohseef Shah spray painted a British War Memorial
with "Islam will dominate Osama"
HE was fined £50 & walked free from court.
In November 2010 Emdadur Choudhury burned a Poppy during the
2mins silence.
He too was given a fine £50 and walked free from court.
Last week in a Portsmouth Court two men were sentenced to 6
months in prison for painting a Poppy on a mosque.

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
The Marigold Hotel filmis based on the novel "These Foolish Things" -which was written in the days when 5 year x visas were regularly given out to Brits.
Unfortunately the film makers overlooked the change to visas when they made the film.
Womder how many people will be sucked into thinking they can be non Indian origin expats in India due to the feel good factor of this film

We descend from the DM to chain emails from the Utah bunker. This seems a suitable investigation of the garbage you posted: http://www.anorak.co.uk/299258/news/...-vandals.html/

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
I have to admit I preferred the book because that was even funnier than the film. Well worth a read as they have changed some of the main characters for the film. In the book the old boy on the pulll is hilariously less tame than the guy in the film.
