Default Transportation troubles.

I'm totally clueless, I'm moving to Jasper, Alberta to start a new job, I need to get there a few days before the 15th April but after looking for a few hours at flights, trains and coaches I'm still none the wiser.

There's just so many websites with such varying prices I dunno whether I'm getting fleeced, a bargain or getting fooled by some underhand company.

What/who would you recommend in terms of flights?

Thanks in advance.

Fly to Calgary and get a shuttle bus up to Jasper. It doesn't seem too difficult. Good luck.

Ok, so you are flying from the UK. You didn't mention that before

Flights on Air Transat from Manchester don't start until May, so you would pretty much have to fly from London Gatwick.

Air Transat - nearest date is 13th April.

Flight departing Saturday 13th April at 09:45 - arrives Calgary at 12:05 (lunchtime)

£349 including taxes (Air Canada is over £900).

You will need to overnight in Calgary as the shuttle leaves at 11.30am

Shuttle Bus - $115 from Calgary to Jasper

Alternative shuttle (same price)

Other alternative is to rent a car.

You are very welcome. There are other routes but that will be the simplest.

The airfare, by the way, is 1 way.

If you relied on a stranger to figure out your travel arrangements I hope you can make it there unaccompanied

Sorry to barge in,hope someone can help me with this one.

I will be starting work in Edmonton, and will be booking a flight which lands there as my POE in Canada.

If I bring my partner and kids over a month later, are they allowed to land at Calgary then bus or I could pick them up from Calgary and drive them to Edmonton.

Is this allowed or must they land at Edmonton for POE same as myself?

Excellent!

Thanks a lot mate,I was a bit unsure as I need to hit Edmonton first for my TWP,and those flights to Calgary are just so much cheaper than my flight.
