Just in case, I didn't come up with this. Found it somewhere and
thought some others might like it.

That's not Grant and Sherman, either.

I think Saddam deserved to go; I have no pity for him. But I
don't think we were right to start this little war either.

I guess you never heard of the burning of Atlanta or the thousands of lives
lost at POW camps - just as effective and cruel - or more so - than a quick
death by poison gas.

During the "Indian Wars" I guess you also never heard of the the US
poisoning Indian water holes, destroying the buffalo (thier source of the
Indian's very existence) and of giving out anthrax blankets to the Indians.

Ever think about the hundreds of thousands if not millions of Vietnamese
affected by Agent Orange? Ever think about the hundreds of thousands or
millions of Japaneese affected my nuclear radiation?

Would you care to tell us why NONE of Sadams "Neighbors" (the ones who we
are supposedly saving) are our allies in the so called "War on Terror".
How many troops do they have on the ground? How much money have they
contributed? Why did most of the 911 terrorists come from Saudi Arabia
(our so called ally)? Why did we go to war with Iraq and not Saudi?

How and when are they damaged is still the question, and has been
for a long time. The answer is probably, as is usually the case, somewhere
in the middle.

There is reason to believe the strain of Anthrax came from Iraq. It is
uniquely identifiable.

And when he did gas his people in 1988, President Reagan just smiled and
said that was ok, cuz he's our friend.

Hot Shot, go on goose-stepping with the rest of your Repuglican friends, and
ignore the medical care increases, the millions of out-sourced jobs and
deregulated airline industry that is dying because of Repuglican policies.
This country is sick, and guess what, its been the Repuglicans that have
been in total charge for the last 4 years. They had a President and
Congress, and we're in a bigger mess than ever. And still have no way out of
Iraq in sight.

For who ? Corporate rats who are taking record profits at the expense of the
working class ? Administration cronies that manipulated the power & energy
crisis in California in 2001 that left thousands in the dark for hours at a
time, even though there was sufficient energy for them ? Secret meetings
that Cheney had with those same Enron Execs that are now under indictment
for defrauding their stockholders with phoney-baloney accounting schemes ?
Drug companies that are making record profits and selling the same drugs to
Canadians & Europeans for 25% of what Americans have to pay for them ? How
about the 44 million medically uninsured Americans who are suffering under
yearly 20% medical cost increases ? Medicare patients that just got slapped
with a 17% premium increase ? 1,000 American families whose sons & daughters
are dead fighting a war in Iraq with no purpose other than to make
15,000,000 Iraqis into potential terrorists ? Millions of Americans who now
cannot recieve overtime because the government has made their jobs "white
collar", even though they are flipping hamburgers and working 60 hours a
week without real compensation ? How about the 2.4 million Americans that
are not even looking for work anymore because of outsourcing ? What about
Americans being forced to train the foreigners to take the jobs in such
places India & Pakistan and then being out of work themselves ?

If you and your Repuglican goosesteppers can't see what is happening to our
vested interests as a nation, and the future health & welfare of our next
generations, you are way out of touch.

Repuglicans claim to want the best for America and cloak themselves in the
Red, White & Blue, but are actually taking us down the garden path to our
eventual destruction. How is our economy to grow if the money and jobs are
flowing out of the country to places such as Pakistan & India ? Who is gonna
have the money to buy things in this country if people are left with no job
in order to purchase the things that make the economy grow ?

Of course the power and energy crisis was brought about by
California rules and regs passed LONG before GW took over. Of course
the Enron execs were actually indicted early in the Bush
administration for things that went on during Clinton's (almost all
of the restatements went back to '97 and Akadelphia at one time was
talking about restating back to '92.
And lets not forget Clinton's attempts to give the travel office
to cronies, allowing Loral to send protected satellite technology to
China in violation of Commerce Dept. rules and putting the largest
deposit of low sulfur coal into a National Monument about three
weeks after getting a campaign contribution from a large Asian coal
concern.

Studies show that almost all of the differences is explained by
differences in wealth and by currency exchanges. 45% of that number
(according to the same report) are w/o insurance for two months or
less. Only about 8% (3.25 million or so) are uninsured for more than
6 months.

1,000 American families whose sons & daughters

Nice try. The OT laws also increased quite substantially the
income under which OT HAD to be paid. All hamburger flippers are now
required to be paid OT.

Read, if you don't see clearly what I see you are wrong and
if you let me tell you how wrong you are, then you can't be trusted
to breathe.

As I recall, this is because we supplied Hussein with the goods back when he
was a "friendly" and seemed intent on destroying Iran. I'm thinking that
this was during the Carter administration - but it probably also continued
into the Reagan era.

Insofar as I am aware, there is no evidence whatsoever that the anthrax
attacks were carried out by any foreigner(s) and there's not much evidence
to suggest a terrorist connection. That whole incident more closely
resembles the Tylenol Murders than any sort of Muslim contrivance - the
coincidence of the event and 9-11 is just astounding... whomever was behind
it had to have been preparing for quite some time - the events of 9-11
perhaps spurred the perp into action. If they ever figure that one out, I'd
lay my money on it being a simple murder plus incredible obfuscation. In my
book, one or two of the dead victims were the real targets... all the other
stuff - especially the envelopes mailed to NBC and the Capital - seems like
part of a smokescreen.... window dressing...

The guy the FBI was hounding... now *that* is a wild story. They wound up
running over the guy's feet when he approached one of their "covert"
surveillance team vehicles - and that was the last episode I read of
regarding little melodrama. You have to wonder if their "person of
interest" in this case is just another hapless malcontent - kind of like the
guy they originally tried to hang the Atlanta Olympic Park bombing on...
the Rent-A-Cop who made the mistake of trying to be a hero.

The FBI, ATF and CIA have been on a real roll the last 10 - 20 years...
McVey just dropped into their laps and they still almost blew the case...
The ATF turned Koresh into a martyr. That guy Hanssen... made Colonel
Klink and Sgt. Schultz look like security geniuses. Say nothing of 9-11 and
all the "clues" that the terrorists were dropping.

Our spies are not exactly the MIB they're so often portrayed as by people
like Oliver Stone.

but I wander....

Right! We go from a surplus and a shaken but viable economy to a
jobless disaster and things are getting better. The only thing getting
better is that there is a chance to get rid of shrub and his unmerry men.
