Re: Day Of Rage In Bahrain Demonstration
http://twitter.com/#!/mohdashoor this guy on twitter is posting updates of situation on Bahrain. I think our fellow posters are unable to post as Batelco is down though. Not sure how this guy is managing, he must be using another provider. You don't have to join twitter to read his updates either, just click on the link

Am glad to say that the Dunkirk spirit is alive and well as I have just been offered a bottle of Gin to keep me going after deplenishing my stocks.
Airport is quite busy by all accounts for anyone considering leaving and if you dont have a ticket then you wont get past security allegedly. Saudi causeway has been open and closed to Europeans during the day
All news reports are highly biaised towards the peaceful Shias. No one wants to report the attrociities committed by the Shias. Al Jazeera is making me sh*t

To be honest, I've met some cracking Bahrainis here (both Sunni and Shia.) This isn't about religion, it's about equality, something we've been lucky enough to be brought up with I guess. Shame it doesn't always seem to travel well.....

The guy may have a couple of pulitzer's but he is a prize tw@t as well. He was one of the first reporters to inflame the situation in Bahrain, and he is making it even worse by allowing people to post on his wall..
I'm all for press freedom, but I always thought the media were supposed to be objective. It's been a huge eye-opener for me to watch how they have manipulated the reporting to suit their sensationalist needs here in Bahrain.
