I use Moneycorp's online platform and also their telephone dealers. We recently bought a property in France so had to make two payments. The deposit payment was straightforward enough and used their online system. On the big chunky balance payment we actually compared /shopped around using MyCurrencyTransfer.com (like a confused.com for currency)- I still ended up with moneycorp but this time used their telephone based dealers. Was able to haggle ever so slightly and still ended up with good rate.
My experience is that I am far more caught up with the rate I am offered by these dealers (particularly on the larger traders) than the small fees which in reality on a bigger transfer doesn't dent too much the end amount recieved
