Average is about 12 weeks from India , look at processing times for the area you will apply from.

not many are interviewed it is the papers you submit that count

Can someone please help me out a little

Okay i sent 50/50 both original and printed copies of paperwork is that okay or does everything have to be original
reason being is i didnt want to send all originals as it always crosses your mind what if it gets lost in post or whatnot

Should be original but as you have already submitted them not much you can do about it - hopefully the originals were the important documents!

it took approx 9 weeks for everything to go through
