Ok,I first thought of going to AB but I got messed about by 2 companies .So I decided on going to MB ,so maybe you will have better luck there. The winter is harsher than AB although I remember once it was -37C one winter there in AB.Once you get your PR status you can move on anywhere you want or do other work.Bison would be a good place to start.Another one for you in MB,Transx are doing LMOs now thru a driving school,Ideal Driver Training in Winnipeg. They have a website doesnt say anything on it about Transx but I spoke to the owner Lubo last summer and he is supplying them new drivers from abroad. The website does have "job openings" at Pauls Hauling which is tanker work,I know they did LMOs also as they took on a few drivers from UK.Im going back to Winnipeg tomorrow to start work so if your heading there keep in touch.

Are you actually applying for jobs and asking if they will do an LMO or are you just looking for jobs that say LMO in place? If your just doing the latter it's probably and idea to do the former.

Try Loblaws in Regina, they took on a lot of UK drivers. Not sure if they are still hiring but it's worth a try. Good luck

I think you are best looking at MB or SK.I dont know what it is with AB ,maybe they get loads of foreign drivers applying there so dont seem to mind messing people about.
