Which Visa For a French Guy - Please Help
I have a friend who is from France. He is 23. He is currently in USA on
a tourist visa. He is doing some volunteering in some american-french
collaboration stuff. He has a bachelors degree in accountancy as well
as history. Also, he has been pursuing a masters degree in accountancy
as a part time activity. He has experience in accountancy as well as
HR. He has been wondering if he wants to stay in US for another 12-36
months, what sort of visa should he be applying for?
It would be great if he can get an H1 visa but I do not know if their
are any american companies willing to sponser a visa for his skill
sets. Does anybody here have any idea about this?
He is a multilinguist and can speak French very fluently, as also
Spanish, Italian and English. Can his fluency in French win him a job
here in USA? What are the vaious options he has if he has to work or
stay in US ?
Also how difficult is it for a French guy to get a job/visa in USA?
Thanks much for your answers and comments and feedbacks.

J1?
But the way you write him up, maybe a K would be more appropriate.

If he is pursuing a masters degree his university might be able to issue
a DS-2019 for him to get a J1 visa, or he might apply for a F1 or M1 visa.
