Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)
Hi All
I emailed Paramatta this week regarding our application and got the usual reply by email " CO not allocated etc. But then today i got a call from the Paramatta office advising that they understand my concern with regards to not yet having approval and CO not yet allocated.
Then advised they are currently allocating & approving applications received on or around 20/1/2010 and as ours was received 16/3/2010 it could be up to 4 to 6 weeks before allocation of CO but then also said this timescale would also really depend on the applications already allocated and if they go to the approval stage without a hitch.
I asked the guy to put the details in an email and this is a copy i received about 5 mins later

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you for your enquiry.
Your application has not been allocated. We are currently allocating
applications that were lodged on 20/01/2010. As your visa was lodged on
16/03/2010, it would take at least 4 - 6 weeks for it to be allocated.

So basically for those who applied in March approval will be in July. For those who applied in Feb it will be in June. For those who applied in April it will be in August etc etc...

It looks that way i guess.
Ken1234 I actually got 2 replies from them. The first one seemed to be an auto responder with stated in general the time frames for applications. The 2nd (which i got after 3 days) is what Chan got!

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)
Hi Everyone
We are just about to start this whole visa thing again & we are just waiting for my husbands employer to send in his nomination to the Melbourne office, i thought it has to go to paramatta as we live on the Gold Coast but the employer lives in Melbourne & looking through this thread it looks like Melbourne are processing a bit quicker.
Will keep you update on my time line......
What is the latest on 856 ens timescales does anyone know??
