hi , i'm Marion a21 years old brazilian dancer , that's is living in canada for two years now ,but my mom doesn't have money enough to keep me here any longer ,what will force me to leave the country .
but i heard of the working visa , actually the student visa with permission to work , that is my case , i don't know exactly what to do , cause all the informations i get tells me that i would need a employer to go in the working visa process , it's not that easy to find a job that wants to give you that kinda of stuff , specially when you are a student .
is there a way for me to get a student visa without an employer ?

If you're still looking at Canada, provided you are under 30, you can get an IEC Open Work visa for one year. The catch is you have to have resided in the UK for a certain period before you can get it, so that may not work for you. For Australia, I don't know.

Does it mean you can apply for IEC even if you are not British citizen?My country is not listed on for IEC and I really hope that I can apply. I used to study in the UK for 2 years (left on 2009), does it make me eligible for applying?

If your country of citizenship is not one of the ones that comes under the IEC, then no, you cannot apply - and neither can the OP, as Brazil isn't either.

OP, what exactly is your status in Canada i.e. what visa have you been on for the past two years? And what is your mom's status in Canada and which province do you both live in?

well , i'm in canada as a student , and the visa i have a is a student visa
i live in vancouver bc , but my mom lives in Brazil , i've been living in vancouver for two years and few months now , but a had a tour to china that took me around 19 days away , does that chances something ? about the two years thing+ one year as worker and stuffs ?

When does your study permit expire and what are you studying (i.e. a degree etc)? Have you been working on your study permit and if so, do you think your employer would want to keep you?

i'm a ballet dancer , and was on dance school from vancouver for these two years , and had a lot of work with them , but nothing that can help me to find an employer , i did many volunteer jobs :like making costumes , cleaning , sewing , make up , doing hair , stuffs to help the school , but nothing from that was an actual job . was just '' volunteer work'' to pay for my full scholarship in the school .

You don't qualify for IEC - from the name of this forum, people are assumed to be from the UK, unless stated otherwise.

You say your parents don't have money to support you any further, so that means study is out, which essentially means you need find a job that no Canadians want, your employer needs a Labor Market Opinion (LMO), which you then use to get a Temporary Work Permit (TWP), which in time could lead to Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nomination, which could lead to PR.

.. or go back to Brazil and look back with good memories of your time in Canada.

Immigration Authorities need to look at people long term. Right now you have no skills that benefit Canada. As a 21 year old dancer, _IF_ you can get work, you will have a career that lasts probably another 10-15 years at most, then what will you do? That is the question that will stop you from staying.
