There's an awful lot of talk on here about how wet London is. It simply
isn't true! I can think of many many parts of the world that have a lot
more rainfall than London.

morning and drizzle all afternoon. This is why the English are so obsessed
with discussing and forecasting the weather.
Having said that, purely from a weather POV your best bet is probably to
visit in June-August, when there is at least a good chance of hot, dry
days. The rest of the year you're pretty much guaranteed not to get that
combination, or at least not for long.

You can't really avoid it. The lowest rainfall (by a few percent) is in
February and March but it's miserably cold then so it's not a great
trade-off.

But there's only a handful of cities that have more rainy days. In somewhere
like Jakarta, sure, it rains, in fact it rains like crazy, but then it stops

June 2002 when I was there.
