Default commuting to Deira

Hi There

I am moving to Dubai July 1st from Canada, my work location will be close to Deira city centre, would please give me some tips which area I should live, we are small family with 3 years old baby, I was checking Dubizzle but the issue her that I am not familiar with the communities there, I like Mirdiff, Bur Dubai and many areas but not sure how hard is it to commute on a daily basis?

Thanks

If you're happy to live in an apartment rather than a villa then Down Town would work, easy commute against most of the traffic down SZR and also pretty family friendly i.e. buildings have kids pools, play areas, parks, taxi ranks, grocery stores, easy walk to mall etc

Bur Dubai, Al Mamzar (near beaches), Mankhool and Karama are all within a 10-15 minute drive. Also, Garhoud (where we live) is very close.

Where you end up loving will, to a large extent, depend on your budget, so you might want to share that; plus the type of accommodation you want - apartment or villa.

Thank you all for ur replay, my budget is smoothing around 90,000 DH to 100,000 DH and prefer at the beginning to rent an apartment, where do think good location for families and close to playing area for kids/malls, grocery stores?

Midriff is your best bet for that budget I suggest.
