EB2 and related question
Hi there,
Something I heard today from the attorney didn't quite make sense to me (with due respect of course), then again I am not expert in this.
Situation is:
-Bachelors from India (3 year Commerce degree)
-Masters from Australia (2 year course, completed in 3 semisters as I got some exemptions so really 16-18 month course)
-Masters evaluated by 3 agencies here and deemed to be equivalent to US masters. Included in the agengies is one that is VERY conservative.
-Experience (not including this job/petitioner) working 2003-2010
Apparently, there could still be chance that with the above still don't qualify for EB2? Because, USCIS apparently recently is not taking great liking toward a 3 year 'INDIAN' degree. Further, 3 year plus all that experience can not be used to qualify for EB2 given it will be a case that the base Bachelors is not recognised. Of course, the best case they are hoping is the 3 Masters evaluations are sufficient....
I still find it strange though. Even after having the masters evaluated they are saying chances of EB2 may be declined. Put it this way, I know some element of them is just saying 'we are trying our best but it's USCIS who decides'.
Any input, appreciated.

Re: EB2 and related question
All I can add is that my OH had a first class BSC from a top UK university and an MBA from Cranfield and we still got dumped in EB3.....so it does happen.

Wondering what are my chances with 3 evaluations!

Re: EB2 and related question
I think it was something to do with other people doing a similar job without a masters and therefore, even though he had one they wouldn't take it into consideration.
