Default Are you prepared for Disasters/Emergencies?

Remember Hurricane Katrina? Thousands of people were stranded and
needed emergency treatment. The problem.....their own doctors weren't
available. Nor were their medical records. Treating them was a
nightmare
for Dr's who flew in to help.

Patients can not be treated unless Dr's know their allergies,
medications
and current conditions.

In addition, families were in different places. Just think if someone
could
have been contacted via cell phone, and asked about their loved one's
medical information....if only they knew who to call.

Having your personal and medical information online can help save your
life! You can be treated faster without the "wait." The first moments
are
the most critical.

Don't take the chance of being left "untreatable" before someone can be
notified. Have your information available to all emergency personnel;
no
matter where you are 24/7. Whether you're traveling, (in the U.S. or
even
abroad) in an emergency or disaster, your record is always available.

Secure and HIPAA Compliant!

If it is all that available I cannot imagine that it is HIPAA compliant.
In any case I wouldn't trust something that available with data.
