Default Work Expirience

Hi,
according to the 1119 booklet, i neet to be working for 18 months
within the last 24 months. does anyone knows if this period is to be
in the time of application or the time of assesment ?
i applied for a PR 2 months ago and i might wana quit my job and go
travelling, and i want to make sure before that it will decline my
visa...

Hi Nir,
According to what is written in booklet- it is time before APPLICATION: "
...at least 12 of the 18 months immediately before applying."
But to be 100% sure better wait for advice from agents helping in this NG

Work experience for the purposes of migration to Australia is calculated up to the time your application is lodged and received by DIMIA/ASPC. What happens to your employment situation after the date of lodgement (receipt) of your PR application is of no interest to DIMIA.

Go travel if you wish, it should not have any effect on your work experience count. However, do remember to update ASPC on how best to contact you while you're on the road.
