Pet Peeves?

Re: Pet Peeves?
There's a bakery kiosk on the way into my nearest supermarket. As you walk past, on the way into the supermarket, you hear these irritating girls yell out 'hey there, how are you today'. Without fail, you hear everyone around mumbling 'oh just piss off'. I don't mind if I'm actually going to buy something from them but not if I'm wandering along about 12 feet away.

Buying seeds for the garden.
Why do you end up with hundreds in a packet? I just want to plant a couple chilli/tomato/corn/pea type plants and end up with hundreds.
I mean, who grows a hundred jalapeño bushes at home?
Did organise a seed exchange last year which worked quite well, but didn't have the time to do it this year.

Re: Pet Peeves?
Which was why I set up a seed exchange in town last year in the community garden project and it was great, got some fun stuff, a lot of herbs and lettuce type plants. Just didn't have time this year.
Also need to remember where they're kept from one year to the next

What's with all the signs telling me which fire district I am entering? It's not like I have to call a different number for each one. Waste of money on the sign and distracting for the driver.

People who think signs don't apply to them.
For example, stopping their car at the red fire zone just to run into the store for a "minute" while there's a perfectly good car park adjacent.
And then there's those who seem unable to park first, then walk into the store, instead they have to hold up other drivers, (me), while they let their "precious" out first at the entrance before they go and park.

Well, 911 is not universal is it? I assume in some fire districts you need to call a different number. We have 911 now in the town I live in, but we didn't when I first moved here...

I sometimes go to Bristol Farms down that way in Woodland Hills.
Usually for two things. Duck Breast and also the perfect cocktail cherries for my Friday night Manhattan.
And this is Friday night...Game of Thrones, chicken wings from Wingstop, with salad, and said Manhattan, (large), and then sweet oblivion.....
