You're in Cincy... what's that - 1.5 hours? I had to drive 3.5 hours to get to Louisville! Anyway... it'll be worth it.

That gives you a chance to play the CD on the way to try and help remember the answers to those famous 10 questions.

We received our biometric appt, April 4th....

So fortunate that our closest USCIS office is about 3 buildings away from where hubby works, and about 40 mins from home! Reading everyone else's experiences makes me realise how lucky that is!!

Yeah, about 1.5 hours.... no biggie really, considering what is at the end of it

I'm already planning my post-oath-ceremony party!

Cool! I dressed up like the Statue of Liberty at my husband's oath ceremony party! It was a complete surprise to him...LOL

Finally naturalized last Wednesday, 21st March at a ceremony with 752 other people in Lowell Auditorium, MA.

I'd originally sent my application (3 months exactly before my 5 years as an LPR was up) in late September, had my biometrics in October and my interview in early December.

The ceremony itself was a little underwhelming, lasting approximately 8 minutes (and that including padding out with pre-recorded music) after a 3-hour wait in cramped seats. To be honest I was gagging to get out of there by the time it was all done and dusted.

Still - it's all over now, and I'm glad to finally be a citizen (just like my gorgeous little daughter!)

Nice one. My Lowell ceremony was a little longer than that. But yeah, lots of sitting around!

Congrats

Quick question: so studying for the civics test, have my 100 questions...

On some of the questions there are multiple answers, do we need to know/answer ALL of them, or will 1 answer suffice, for example:

What is an ammendment
a change
an addition to

Would I need to answer both, or just 1. It isn't always obvious as some of the answers given are the same just worded differently.

I know this is a silly question, but I don't want to think 1 thing and end up un-prepared.

Our interview letters have been mailed out, we are just waiting to find out the date

You only need to give one answer per question.
