Is FBI clearance really taking 70 days?

Can someone confirm that FBI clearance is really taking 70 days at the moment? I read
that in a recent post about AOS interview. My fingerprints were taken on Oct 3 and my
AOS interview is next week so I'm concerned about not getting the stamp in my
passport at the interview because the fingerprints haven't cleared yet (my EAD is
about to expire so I'm in a quandry as to whether to apply for another EAD just in
case I don't get my green card stamp next week)
