Bring bras! They are expensive. I got my last lot from M&S for GBP11 each and they are per una and comfy, pretty and very nice. I had to get my FIL to bring a few with him when he visited

Oh and deodorant, the stuff I have tried here stains your white clothes. I am sure there must be decent stuff but I am spending money trying to track it down.

If you use Body Shop products, its double the price here - my GBP9 moisturiser is $18 here

Chocolate buttons bring them too

Yes pay a visit to M and S for sure Stock up on lots of nice bras and undies. The selection here is very limited and pretty expensive. In fact buy lots of nice things in M and S. Didn't think I would miss it but I have to admit I do

Marks and Sparks deliver to Canada don't they? I have been counting on that - certainly for bras, better fit better everything - I get them to ship here. On the advice of everyone on this forum I am bringing my beds, I've just bought new mattresses and bases (but yes I've slept on the so they aren't new). I really don't like Canadian shoes, they just didn't float my boat - I have bought lots!

Packets of instant custard as in 'pour boiling water on and stir'? No, I haven't been able to source it anywhere, just the 'old fashioned' traditional stuff in tins.

Bovril is my preferred choice too and I never find it here - even in the many Brit stores near me. I always stock up on my trips home or when people visit. The great thing about it, is that it lasts for ages, so I would sneak a few jars into your suitcases if I were you.

Bovril has been available for many years in the GTA. I have purchased it many times.
