I quite like this part of the year, you can bid farewell to the humidity and bitey things and settle into a few months of bliss before the oil heaters/woodpile needs to be employed

Temp a little above my ideal but otherwise getting into the 'I can exercise without dissolving into sweat' zone.

From what I can gather there is plenty of it in the winter it's just that it takes a while to have an effect. Cue wood stockpile usage and a few extra layers on the bed.

Yeah can't argue with the Winters here, and many I come across find the best time of the year!

The in between's of that that and summer are my personal fav, altho not saying much at the mo.
