Hi All,
Does anyone know where I can hire a trailer on which I can transport a classic car back to the UK? Any info re the legalities would be useful. Thank in advance.

Hi, sorry but I have no idea! Smaller trailers yes but not car sized ones. Have you tried yellow pages or the Hungarian web directories? Good luck

Don't know if this will help, there is a company based in Budapest who specialise in transporting goods and vehicles to all of europe. They claim that they will match any cheaper price. Might be worth looking at. The web site is: www.futar.com

You have to keep clicking the "next" button until you get to the car transporter trailer:

It only has a 1500 kg payload though so it won't take a big car.

See it now, yes would need to be Focus or Golf size maximum. At least he'll know they are about and the chap can perhaps put him onto somebody else.

Please understand we get a lot of people who join BE and "pretend" they have a friend or "recommend" someone that only turns out to be them/their company etc etc.

You gave no information in the post I deleted, you didn't mention any friends etc, basically, yes, it looked spammy... so consequently I edged on the side of caution and removed it. If your friend is able to help feel free to post his website etc here ... there's no need for cloak and dagger stuff
