That sounds promising - they are probably working on your file!

Down side has been they have only given us 60 days to get all sorted and took 10 days to get letter
Congrats on getting your medical request!!!

We've now started getting updated police certificates sorted out and will hopefully be able to send them off soon, in the hope that someone may actually dig our file out and start working on it. Hope always dies last, they say...:fingerscros sed:

Is it worth getting new police certs yet? It may be months before you get PPR/meds and you can apply for new police certs in parallel - only takes a couple of weeks..

I think it will be resolved this year (for o/s 2008-2010 apps) but I think we'll be closer to 2013 than anyone thinks......still positive tho

I seem to be the only one who hasnt had the AOR???? - gosh i hope i havent missed anything when i moved - did send london emails and letters to inform them of the change (would something like this show on ECAS)

I noticed from Tracys thread that u applied for FSW 1 then had LMO later on - - (is LMO something to do with a job offer)
Just we applied for FSW - no job offer - but since then my cousin has offered my parter a job at his firm in canada -

Im so confused on whats the best thing for us to do - - should my cousin send off what ever forms over there - will this just go onto my orignal application if approved.

Or do i have to start all over again under FSW (with job offer)

Im sorry if im sounding soooooo stupid - im so confused lol

Thank you xxxxxx

Kelly.

If the certs are about to expire I'd get new certs and send them in ahead of any request. It could save time for any further requests from CIC and might drag the file out to the top of the pile if it's in the batch being processed.

That's what we'll be doing soon anyway.

If your partner has a job offer they could apply for TWP:temporary work permit whilst you are waiting on PR and i think you could go over as spouse....Don't quote me on it but it would defo tell you in the WIKI and no doubt someone will reply who does know for a fact!!
Which one of you is the main applicant? Did you have a relpy from canada to send on full application to london visa office...Presuming you are in england?

You should be about to get your AOR going on recent timescales. What does your Ecas say? (not that it's terribly reliable though!).

If your partner has a job offer, there's no point in reapplying for PR as it would just put you back to the start again, but for a TWP he'd need a LMO, so that would need to be your first step.

Good luck.

Kelly - your timescale is very close to mine - we received AOR via post quite late - 1st July 2011. Had you moved/were you moving around that point? Our new file no does not work on ECAS (although old one does) and our status is still RBVO.

The letter states to give it 8 months before contacting them - which will be the end of Feb, so we will send out a letter/email then. Maybe it would be useful for you to send something out around that time too, stating that your AOR may have been delivered to the wrong address?

Good luck - whether you sit it out with FSW or the TWP (if you go for that). I feel it could be a matter of months now for Med requests (please)

Ummm....quietly freaking out at the moment - just got an update from my eCAS tracker - my status has been updated to "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I've not had any med invites, but I'm also aware that eCAS can be 'variable' in it's accuracy from time to time() Part of me is obviously concerned, and the rest of me is excited that my folder may have finally been dragged out of the corner and dusted off...Should I be worried?

Actually I would be quite concerned. A "decision made" without a medical request is not a good sign in most instances.
