I have been going to Fidalgo on a Fri and Sat they have live music inside and live music outside 2 girl groups worth a try
if you are fed up with the norm on the beach belt
Also cantare in Saligao had a live group in Dec when I was was in there but have not been back since so do not know if it is a regular thing

Love Cantare - Wish we were there now completely different from the normal night out in Goa.

Good night last night at Molly Malone's. Jimmy with a couple of Russians, one sax and one electric guitar. Also a Dutch duo guested and she had a terrific voice. They have live music a number of nights per week. Cavala in Baga also a good venue with live music three times a week; Tidal Wave on Friday, always brilliant.

Hi,,,and thank you for asking...I play at Under the Stars restaurant in Baga on a Tuesday night. Its in CSM Lane and its a lovely courtyard restaurant with good food, reasonable prices and excellent service. There are the markets to go to for some good music but also in Anjuna there is Laguna Anjuna for live music with one of the guys from UB40 regularly and Sea Rock but check out WUG which is a horrible acronym for Whats Up Goa..fortunately they changed it from Whats In Goa..they have a website and all the gigs are in there. For more cultural events try Kala Academy in Panjim..they have some great music there and I think that there is a violin concert there 23rd January with Hadar Rimon.

More people need to know about WUG (whats up goa) so they can enjoy Goa to the full.
