I'm on a roll lately................ on the day it pulled in ELEVEN Oscar nominations (admittedly many of them for minor stuff like sound editing etc), I caught "Hugo" by Martin Scorsese, which is unlike anything he has ever done before.

Utterly loved it, and I wish I'd been at home to take my mum with me (she rarely enjoys a film these days). Various Brits scattered around in cameos, but stealing the show is Chloe Moretz, best known as the girl from Kick-Ass.

Highly recommended.

Bronson - "A young man who was sentenced to 7 years in prison for robbing a post office ends up spending 30 years in solitary confinement. During this time, his own personality is supplanted by his alter ego, Charles Bronson."

Catfish - Its a documentary about about Facebook and how you shouldn't always believe what you read...really really good

Talhotblonde - This was brilliant. "This is the true story of a love triangle that takes place entirely online. Lies lead to murder in real life."

watched all 3 recently and thought they were brilliant...

Not seen this yet..I am always suspicous of movies marketed with 'the X of era XX', in this case, 'A 21st century Clockwork orange'..Is it quite brutal? The trailer looked quite wild.

I can't wait for this..FDR American Badass

Bronson - with Tom Hardy at his brilliant best (but beefed up like a Gladiator).......
