Couple new to Auckland
Hi all
My partner and I have been in Auckland 7weeks now and now that we have our house pretty much set up we are keen to start making some friends! Let me introduce ourselves we are both in our early 30s, live in Ponsoby area and are up for meeting some like minded people. We are into socialising, watching sports, the outdoors, and cooking!

I can't help directly as I'm in Oz but just wanted to say hello. Sometimes we're a bit thin on the ground and we can't answer everyone as soon as we'd like.

Hi LWB. Sorry for delayed response, dont visit this site very iften. if you check out the meet-ups page/ section you'll find a bunch of postings from people keen to meet up in Auckland. my husband and I recently moved here from Australia but we're Scottish. We've met a few couples through this site in their 30's and 40's and we've caught up for a few beers or maybe more than a few.... If you fancy a night out then gve us a shout. Cheers, Rona

Hello and a big welcome to the New Zealand section of BE from the Consierges in Spain.
You will find excellent information in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
BE Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font. Also there are Consierges who can support and guide you.

I am new to this so apologies if this goes horribly wrong!
My partner and I moved from Altrincham, Cheshire about 4 weeks ago and now living in St Heliers. We are in our late 20's (well he is, I think I still class as mid-20's
) and too enjoy sports mainly water type (waiting for our kitesurfing stuff to arrive from the shippers) and cooking (I am a dietitian). We feel like we are just getting our heads together and settled so would love to meet some friends.Anyways, I hope you guys are doing OK and finding NZ well. Would be good to chat or meet.
