Default Hi from central Germany

Found per chance this forum and thought of having a look around.
Moved from Canada to the Rhein/Main region of Germany three years ago,
and feel very happy here! Looking forward to how this forum is.

Hello and welcome to BE.

Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself...I'll give you a few links to help you find your way around the forums.

I think you may want to join in with the chatter in the Germany Forum....we also have a General Europe forum.

We have a team of concierges who will help you find your way around the forums if you get a little lost. You can find a list of their names at the bottom right hand side of this page.

Complaints or problems should be addressed to a moderator...Mitzyboy is the mod for the Europe forums but if he's not around any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.

Please give me a shout if you need any help.

Thank you for the welcome! Yes have been looking into the German part of the forum a bit. But nice to see there are also others who have moved from continent to continent, locals always sort of look at you unbeleivingly.

We have quite a lot of members who have lived in Germany...mostly with the UK or US military.

Sorry I overlooked the Canada Forums...you may wish to take a peek in there.

Hi, and welcome to the forum! I live in France but I've got a special penchant for Germany, as my two daughters are both living in Berlin.
Whereabouts are you? I went to the Mosel valley last year but didn't have time to get down to Bingen.

Well we are living just south west of Frankfurt, rather mild area compared to central Ontario! So we have almost everything very close city-life but also the peace and quiet of the country side. And we are far enought away from Frankfurt airport that the jets do not bother all too much!

Mosel valley can easily take a whole day or more! That is a really nice area! Although at times also very clogged with bus loads of tourists so that it is not as easy to enjoy some spots as in the off season. Really nice in the late summer when those wine festivals start!
