Default Filing for an income tax refund for 2007

Please would anyone have any advice on how to file a P50 for 2007?

I do not have my P45 or P60. I have no idea how I lost them but my guess is during my move from MA to CA in October 2998.

Thank you!

Not sure why you would need to file a P50 to claim your refund. Normally upon leaving the UK you file a P85 and that triggers your refund. Did you do this?

If you've lost your P45 or P60, you'll need to request a statement of earnings from your former employer.

Also bear in mind that to get a refund for tax year 06/07, HMRC must receive your claim by March 31, 2012

I did not file a P85 and so I will do that. Is it ok or even possible to do that now?

I did not know about the P85.

Yes- you could still file a P85 for 2007. Good luck!
