Unrelated minors into faro airport ?
#20
Many thanks - as children my brother and I were put on planes by ourselves to be met in the UK by family (and sent back asap !!) and there was never a problem. My children used to travel to the Canaries on their own to be met by my parents but it is different now and, from what I can gather, Portugal is quite strict about it.

We done nothing and had no problems either way. This year we took an unrelated 17yr old to Faro & back. No questions asked.

Just to let you know of our experience. Two years ago we took 2 unrelated 16yr olds to Faro. I was advised by the Portuguese Embassy in Portugal that I would be best to get a letter from the parents, endorsed by a solicitor. I was told by the portuguese Embassy in the UK that I didn't need anything.
We done nothing and had no problems either way. This year we took an unrelated 17yr old to Faro & back. No questions asked.
