As I predicted the closure of the lcbo during the g20 has proved the final straw

I can think of nothing else that could cause rioting within the gta

Ha, no chance, rather watch the US game and stay safe. I sent CBC on my behalf.

But i thought Canada was full of fluffy clouds and happy, polite people. A country where your children can run free without fear, and all who live there conform like good folk because "that's how it's done".

You live and learn.

Edited to add: I just read this in the Vancouver Sun - "Officers had both golf balls and flowers thrown at them..."

Those Canadians really know how to riot

I'm more concerned about the golf balls. Not exactly the weapon of choice for a bona fide 1960's anarchist, I'd have thought?

Well Danny the Red would have disapproved but golf balls are probably no more bourgeois than cobblestones these days.
