I have a quick question regarding travel to Taiwan for PRC passport holders.

My wife is a PRC passport holder and soon to be a Permanent Resident of Canada. Once she is a Permanent Resident, can she get a tourist visa to travel to Taiwan, accompanying me, her husband (Irish passport holder)? She will be flying to and from Canada to Tapei and will stay purely for a vacation.

Would Taiwan issue her with a tourist visa or would we have to join a large organised tour group?

Taiwan is a lovely island and we would love to see it firsthand.

I get you some information!
As long as she is the resident of Canada, She doesn't need to follow the tour.
If she has relatives in Taiwan, she can stay up to a month. If not, she can only stay 10 days! It will be one-entry visa. Also, it will expire in two months after you get it.
