Went to the Tavira Lounge for lunch the other day, good food, good prices and nice staff, it also has a little table for the small ones to colour and chalk at.
Try the homemade quiche its very nice, comes with salad and lovely dressing. They are open at night as well.
Its just off the main square where the cafes are near the Roman bridge, follow the road the cars take and it bends left at the bridge and its about
50m on your right.

Oooh, that sounds good, I'm off on a quiche mission tomorrow then.
Have you tried Rive Gauche - on the same road as Aquasol - we have had a couple of fantastic (if slightly quirky) meals there recently!

Was in Tavira to complete on our new apartment last weekend. We also ate at Tavira Lounge (soup, salad and steak sandwiches - great to have somewhere for lunch that is not a mega meal) We also went for a few drinks in the evening - lovely ambience. In fact the several restaurants we ate in Tavira over the weekend were all good for different reasons. We also ate at Luis' in the village on Monte Francisco - almost on the Portugal/Spain border - busy Portuguese restaurant nice atmosphere.

When we come back from golf at quinta de vale we pop into his old place for a swift halve or three. Cheapest pint anywhere.

The owners of the building are from the Irish but they have leased it out.
