Well i finally got my hire car after looking around for best prices and size of car needed, was unsure of bayswater cause of the reviews i read in a link i listed before, but god they all have some bad reviews.
The last thing i wanted was to pay more than what other sites offered for same car,but the 20% discount did it for me.
Not gone very smoothly, did the offer through the link, card got charged full amount, called them and said there should have been discount, they knew and said there must have been an error in there system so canceled my booking, said that it would be refunded.
So over £644 to go back into my account, and they did me the correct cost i wanted,to my shock they had me down 5 days short of my car hire request.
Called again and this time it was an error on her part so sorted that out.

Lets hope they refund me asap on my first booking which did not show discount.
I was as said put off of with some reviews i read on bayswater and guess what,as you dont know who you get when booking online with holidayautos i ended up with redspot, and after getting these as a car hire company, have also read some horror stories of them too, maybe i am just reading into the reviews too much but its nice to know who are ok and not these days when doing stuff like this.

All i can do now i suppose it just see how things go with them, maybe its all good and im sure many others have used them and been ok with them too, have anyone used them before and how did it go.

I suppose all car hire companys are the same some people get unlucky with how they get dealt with and some go back again and again.

I will keep you posted as to what i thought of it all.

Hi Brian

What sort of bad things were said about Bayswater? We went with them because a friend recommended them and he's not one to suffer fools gladly!

We've never had a problem with them - I used to call them from the UK to book the cars and the cars were always clean and reliable.

Reviews are a pain - it's like hotels. I go onto Trip Advisor and read some reviews for hotels I've stayed at and wonder what on earth these people are on about.

I guess it's expectation levels and the service might meet one persons but not anothers.

Anyway, glad you got it booked - what's the next dilemma !

Have a good trip.
