Default Re: Spanish expats

Hi

It is because other places in Spain were so densely populated that I moved here !!!

Does it need any more comment? Can 150,000 people be wrong? They all had the choice of interior towns, Madrid or Barcelona, fincas on the campo with cesspits, and the islands.

They chose to come here for the good life. Bless them.
4 million people (Spanish, Moroccans, Romanians, Ecuadorians etc) ended up living in Madrid. Can they all be wrong too ? Of course if you're looking for sun sea and sand, then you're going to head to the coast. Some of us prefer the interior, or are seeking work (ie Madrid or Barcelona) but I can't see this changing most British expats, who, let's be honest, are in Spain to be near the coast. Good luck to them, but don't forget the sun block.

I suppose we have the best of both worlds - in the campo - with a cess-pit , near a village with just a small number of ex-pats, 40 minutes from the coast for any visitors that are so inclined - only been a handful of times in 6 years ourselves, and one hour away from both Malaga & Granada airports.
