Default UK Tax

I have looked for the answer but not found it yet, can anyone link me to the place that I am suppose to fill an online form for telling the UK tax people that I am not longer resident in the UK.

I have searched the Revenue and customs website but no luck yet?

Have I explained myself ok?

It's a P85 you want Emma. Here you are:

It's not fillable online though, you'll have to mail it.

I sent my form and P45 off towards the end of september. I got a letter yesterday to say there would be a delay because they are updating their computer system

No indication how long the delay would be! Hubby sent his off in July and got the money only a few days ago.

Drat! We haven't even received a letter to say about the delay! My OH is going to ring the tax office from Canada when he has a chance as my worry is that the form has been mislaid because of not having any correspondence from them at all. I was hoping it would come through before Christmas (its going into my bank acc whoop whoop! ) but I'm not going to rely on the money anytime this year

Ours took about 6months to get sorted, we sent the form before we left in August 2008. Think it was sorted by April 2009, so thats longer than 6mths. We were still paying tax on our UK pensions until that time, but got it all back.
