l'Assurance Maladie has advised our E106 cover ceases in January 2010. My wife is 60 in March. We have our Carte Vitale and use a top-up insurance, also an operation has been booked for January.
Advice and comment welcome on extending/renewal of E106 or similar. |

In March your wife can have a E121, Which when submitted to CPAM will cover both of you. It does however leave you with a bit of uncovered period. IMHO may prove better to find a Private option for that period. Last edited by Ka Ora! : Nov 7th 2009 at 12:44 pm. |

Thanks for that. What is IMHO? With our Mutuelle insurance top-up, might we be covered for the op in mid-January (E106 out after 2 Jan)?

Now it's me feeling humble. Doh!
We need to speak to our Mutuelle, key issue is getting this op funded. |
