What a pity too many dead brains messed up your thread !
I think you make a good choice to learn the British accent instead of American !
If not meeting any UK people in HK - and I know you could visit the bars in Kowloon to find some - then why not buy some dvds of UK tv programmes ?
Also look for local adverts for English Corners - but not sure if HK has those (we have them in mainland China).
